David MichaelsDavid Langtree,23 years of age who is the Electro house fanatic,better known as David Michaels who derived of his name by
incorporating his second name “Michael” into his artist name to try keep his name original so that it reflects upon how his
music is viewed.David was born in Johannesberg South Africa then later moved to Durban where he was raised in a small
suberb named Queensburgh 30 miles from the main city. David Michaels has a vision to introduce the world to S.A by
expressing the countries taste with his funky style of music by showing off Phat basslines and hard to forget hooks,
showing off to the world that South Africa “The Heart Of Africa” Has what it takes to make the World dance. David
Michaels wants to make good use of elctrifying basslines which will bend and twist with pitch followed with the amazing
filter programs designed to make listeners interested and has a new vision of experimenting with dubstep like styles into his
Electro House Productions to try and evolve the style of Electro House.
Being in the town that David was in was tough as their were not many producers in that area and if their were, they could
not match up to the particular skill that was needed to match the industry standard. But that never stopped him, oh no not a
chance because he found a simple solution for this particular problem….Internet.David entered remix competitions just for fun
which actually led him to make the top ten in some cases and has done work with artist such as Flex,Jimmy Church and Beeman
who has released music with Soul Candy Records, a kingpin record label in South Africa. But David Michaels usually does his
productions on a solo effort because he can do it. David Michaels plans to get his music overseas, and to take on the World,
by giving people what they want, Good Music.His vision is clear and he knows what he wants.
